  Prior to starting Clinician1 Spencer was CEO at The Falk Group LLC and at Bates Healthworld North America, a division of The Healthworld Corporation. Healthworld is a leading global healthcare communications and marketing services company that provides medical and consumer healthcare advertising, medical education, public relations, consulting services and contract sales in seventeen countries. Prior to this position, Spencer founded and ran Falk Communications, a full service healthcare communications company specializing in medical education. Founded in 1989, Falk Communications was renamed Falk Healthworld after its acquisition by Healthworld in 1999. During those 10 years Spencer grew Falk Communications from a one person shop in his kitchen to a 75 person agency with revenues of over $25 million. Prior to Falk Communications, Spencer rose through the ranks at Pfizer,Inc. from 1979-1986. Cutting his teeth in the field as a sales representative, he won several performance awards, including “Salesperson of the Year”. Later as a senior member of Pfizer’s Marketing Department, he handled several of Pfizer’s strategically critical anti-infective products.  He joined Forest Laboratories in 1986 as a senior Marketing Director responsible for directing the company’s portfolio of analgesic products.  Spencer holds a BA in Biology and Business Administration from Rutgers University and an MBA from New York University.  He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
