  Welcome to Clinician 1. As a PA for many, many years, I know the power of communication. This will allow us to communicate on different levels, about different subjects with thousands of colleagues.

  In the past I have worn different hats as President of the New York State Society of Physician Assistants where I worked closely with my counterpart from the NP side, Kathleen Kelly, NP-C, Ph.D-c.I have just completed my year as President of the American College of Clinicians. I was president of the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants and worked closely with the AORN and AST and created a forum for us to communicate as leaders at the ACS meeting. I served as the chairman of the surgical congress of the AAPA for four years as well as the Liaison to the American College of Surgeons from the AAPA for five years. I have worked as an Administrator, surgical PA and Emergency Department PA. I am excited about Clinician 1 and the communication it brings to us all.
