  Mr. Marks, a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner is the President of CRO-PC PLLC which owns and operates primary care clinics in coastal North Carolina. In addition, for the last 14 years he has been a member of NC-1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT) with the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) with whom he has responded to disasters around the country including the Pentagon and WTC on 9/11 and multiple hurricanes including, Floyd, Dennis, Katrina, Rita and the Florida events of 2004. He has been recognized by the American Red Cross for his 9/11 response, the Secretary of Health and Human Services for his disaster responses, and was a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security. He is a former member of the NMRT-East, (National Medical Response Team) for weapons of mass destruction. He serves his local community as a Boy Scout leader, Rotary, and as a youth sports coach. Mr. Marks lives at the southern outer banks of NC with his wife Laura and sons Josh and Nathan.
