Johnny Hudson, NP

  Johnny Hudson is a Nurse Practitioner in Columbia, SC, working with the University Of South Carolina Division Of Neurosurgery.  He has over 7 years experience working with neurosurgery and neurotrauma patients. His original training as a NP was from the University of Mobile, in his home town of Mobile, AL.  He resides in the Midlands area of South Carolina with his wife, Darlene, and two of their five children.

  As a Nurse Practitioner, Johnny has been active in local organizations. He is a member of the SCNA, ANA, and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. As expert on various neurosurgery and neurotrauma topics, he has lectured throughout the region. Active in nursing and medical education, he holds faculty appointments at the University of South Carolina’s School of Medicine and College of Nursing.  Recent research works include an analysis of pediatric shunt infections and the use of stealth navigation in the placement of pedicle screws in thoracic spine trauma patients.
