  Eric has worked in emergency medicine for the last 22 yrs as an ER tech, paramedic and PA. His undergraduate studies in medical anthropology were completed at The University of California at Santa Cruz. He attended the pa program at hahnemann university and later completed a postgraduate masters in pa studies with an emphasis in emergency medicine through the university of nebraska.

  He has written articles for many prominent pa journals over the last ten years.
  His work experience as a pa includes positions in a rural critical access hospital, community facilities, level 1 and 2 trauma centers and solo coverage of a satelite emergency facility.  He is a member of his state’s federal disaster medical team(DMAT).

  Eric enjoys precepting pa students in emergency medicine and has done so continuously since the time of his graduation from pa school. In his free time he enjoys scuba diving, distance running, river rafting, mountain climbing, and spending time with his family.
